September clouds

Waiting for the rain to drown
trees and fields in waterspout
I look rather up than down
and know what those clouds are about.

A sudden thunderstorm might blow
the wind hard in reverse direction
and thereby obviously show
unpredicted predilection.

Better for us to find a room
with walls around and a firm roof,
so that the clouds that above loom
can’t harm us ’cause we’re weatherproof.

Aus meinem Buch:

Life represents us with an astonishing variety of beauty. This is why when I see a photo or a picture, it might inspire me to put my thoughts in a rhyme. Picture and rhyme belong together this way. – When the reading becomes too difficult, try a second time, or a third, and you’ll understand what I want to say, I hope.
