Fake news

Not everything they print is true,
some news not even half way.
When people think the sky is blue
they see now it was hearsay.

It can adapt unlikely colours
and such that no one would believe.
Astonishing as here in pallor
of a yellow you perceive.

It’s quite the same with printed news:
the one who wrote them chose the word,
and those who read them get their clues
just as they want – partly absurd.

All understanding is perception
only in the way we make
model news by some adaption
to our brains – sometimes they’re fake.

Aus meinem Buch:

Poems: My poems can be either useful to boost a lively discussion or you enjoy them quietly, not more than one at a time. The metre sometimes differs from stanza to stanze, so they are not always easy on the eye. Hopefully, however, you have fun and find some poems that you like best.
