Changes

Landscapes change without man’s hand,
trees that grew fall down.
And the view across the land
showed more green than brown.

But people then entered the stage
and turned and ploughed the soil.
Throughout hard times and different age
they fought with honest toil.

So the result today is seen:
streets cut land criss-cross,
from town to town through country green.
Culture is nature’s loss.

Aus meinem Buch:

Some poems about man in nature. Visions and ideas how we can treat our environment, or are treated by it. Man as a social animal can show responsibility for his surroundings both natural and social. Some Limericks are mainly to amuse myself and the reader.
