Ambiguity

von Norbert Rath

So much is clear, there is no way
that just one proves enough.
At least two offer you to say
“I’ll take it”, hard or tough.

Most things have two sides anyway
and at the same time, too.
So you must choose to go or stay
and decide what to do.

Even a word can make you doubt
which of the meanings fits.
Should one with facts and figures spout
take care: truth also splits.
